newchoir member funding supports
newchoir is a non-profit organization committed to the diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging of our members. We have recently reviewed our best practices to ensure we are more inclusive of under-represented and equity-deserving populations.
While the membership dues paid by members are an essential part of our financial sustainability, we have funding resources in place to assist with the payment of dues and ensure the choir meets its membership and diversity goals.
I am an existing or potential member of newchoir who needs financial help
We understand that the financial commitment of newchoir can be difficult for some. newchoir is proud to offer financial support for members thanks to the Natalie Kuz Memorial fund.
Natalie was a devoted member and friend of newchoir from 2007-2022. Natalie was an alto, a soloist, the membership coordinator and a board member. She performed in many concerts, highlighted by a show at Carnegie Hall. When Natalie passed from cancer in 2022, she requested that a scholarship fund be set up in her name to support members in financial need and ensure that they continue to sing with the choir that she loved so much. The choir is extremely grateful to Natalie’s family for their support.
